Senior Travel Consultant - Rietfontein (Pretoria)

Qualifications : Galileo/ Amadeus Certified; BSP Accreditation and Additional Tourism Qualifications will be an added advantage. Experience : Minimum of 2 Years in Travel Agency /Tour Operating Environment. Contract Type : Fixed Term Contract. Contract Duration : 2 Years Probation : 3 Months

Functions /Key Results Expected • Management of entire travel, reservation and booking system; from the development of an itinerary to travel services confirmations. • Responsible for final invoicing and reconciliations and submit to line/unit head for approval. • Marketing of the Company’s Air travel, Tours and Accommodation services. • Identifying key clients to engage and sign up as well as retention of customary clients. • Engaging with other travel agents who require ticket issuing services through Galileo and Amadeus. • Preparing the BSP arrangements for the administrator. • Ensuring all contracts with suppliers and other tour operators are up to date. Impact of Results • Client Portfolio growth of the Company’s travel retail division. • Increased growth in sales of air travel and tours • Ensures awe realise an increased growth in package sales in every quarter • Increased unit growth

Additional Information • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required with strong administration and organisational skills. • Preference will be given to individuals who can demonstrate ability to start off their portfolios and grow clientele base within the shortest time possible, preferably within a month.
